You will need:
  • - Kite + bar + leash: A kite is normally sold with a bar and a leash. You will choose your kite depending of your weight, your level, the wind. In UAE a person of a weight of 85 kg will have two kite a 14m and a 9m. The 14m will be the one used most of the time. In UAE a person of a weight of 65 kg will have two kite a 12m and a 8m. The 12m will be the one used most of the time.
  • - Board: Depends of you weight and the wind speed, you will choose you board. Bigger (surface specially width) it will be, easier it will ride in light wind. But, bigger it will harder it will be to edge, so to jump. In UAE a person of a weight of 85 kg will have a board 135*43, a specifc light wind board 145*50, and maybe a surfboard In UAE a person of a weight of 65 kg will have a board 131*40 and maybe a specific light board bigger, and maybe a sufboard.
  • - Harness: It exist two kind of harness, seat and waist. Seat harness are more dedicated to beginner, you will have more confort but less freedom feeling. Waist harness is the most used harness, less confort but looks cool, legs are free!!!
